This book follows the story of a young girl, Suzy, who sets out on a journey to find truth, and to find herself. On this path, Suzy learns the about how some actions have consequences, but she also displays resilience in following her intuition. She learns how to deal with certain emotions, including sadness in the aftermath of tragedy. The book is a page-turner, and is hard for the reader to put down. Benjamin writes of grief and dealing with grief in a meaningful way. She creates characters which the reader can relate to, which makes it easy for them to root for the characters as their stories unfold.
