Tyler Jones, star of Aurora Academy, was supposed to get first pick of the best recruits for his team, but he was late. He was late because he was rescuing a girl off a derelict spaceship, where she has been stuck in cryo-sleep for two centuries. No, things are not going Tyler's way, and this is just the beginning, since Aurora, the girl he rescued, seems to be wanted by some very powerful galactic authorities and they are not too fussy about eliminating witnesses. So now they are on the run with seemingly the last team you would want. This team of misfits is going to have to try and save the galaxy, assuming they can survive and not kill each other in the meantime. I loved just about everything about this book: the characters are great, there is some really witty humor, and the adventure is fun and fast paced. This book is a must read for any sci-fi fans, especially if you like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It is one of the best I have ever read.Publisher description:
