Candace doesn't have time to worry about the growing global pandemic edging closer to New York City. She remains more interested in her job at a fledgling publisher, paying rent in the city, and her deteriorating love life. Eventually, though, she is forced to confront the apocalyptic situation all around her. But did she wait too long to leave?
