The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue: Schwab, V. E.: 9780765387561: Amazon.com: Books This is the book that made me figure out my genre: Magical Realism. I'm not interested in Sci Fi or Fantasy where I have to learn about an entire world or history, filled with weird names and galactic battles. Give me normal human history, but with a slight magical edge to it. Add in a relatable female protagonist, someone you could pass on the street and not realize the incredible journey they are on, and I'm sold. For fans of the movie Age of Adaline, or the book Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
