National History Day Research Rendezvous 2025-26   
                

Open House Workshops

Students, get individualized one-to-one help on your NHD projects from librarians, CU history dept. faculty, grad students, regional historians, and community experts! You will be paired with a mentor for a 30-minute session. You can use the time for help with research sources, thesis writing, or just getting feedback on your project.

  • Tuesday, Dec.16th 4:00-6:30 at Main Library
  • Friday, Jan 9th 5:30 - 7:30 at Reynolds Library
  • Wednesday, Jan. 21st 4:30 - 6:30 at Meadows Library
  • Thursday, Jan. 22nd 4:30-6:30 at Nobo Library

SPECIAL EVENT:  Using Local Resources for National History Day Topics 

Learn how local history materials can strengthen your National History Day project at the Carnegie Library for Local History.

SPECIAL EVENT:  Digging Into History: Using Primary and Secondary Sources Like a Pro

A librarian from CU Boulder's Norlin Library will explain the difference between primary and secondary sources and how each can be used to support strong historical research. This session is will offer practical strategies for finding, evaluating, and incorporating sources into your NHD project.
